No forced closures of rural fire brigades

Today in State Parliament Labor’s scaremongering among emergency service volunteers, and the wider community, reached a new low.

There will be no forced closures of rural fire brigades in Tasmania now or into the future.

Our rural fire brigades play a critical role in our overall response to responding to bushfire risk and volunteerism in our fire brigades and the SES is strong.

In fact, the Tasmanian Government is looking to make this even stronger.

Labor should be ashamed of themselves for repeating baseless rumours.
