Delivering for Braddon

  • Upgrading the North West Regional Hospital, including more car parking and upgrades to the Acute Care Facility;
  • Delivering a dedicated Mental Health Precinct in Burnie, and a new Mental
    Health Hub
    in Devonport
  • Continuing major upgrades to the Bass Highway between Launceston and Devonport;
  • Improving safety on the Ridgley Highway;
  • Widening and resealing the Stanley Highway;
  • Delivering the Burnie Court Complex;
  • Progressing the new Child and Family Learning Centre at Smithton;
  • Progressing a new purpose-built North West Support School campus in Devonport and significant upgrades to the North-West Support School’s Burnie campus;
  • Delivering upgrades to Montello Primary School, Burnie Primary School and Havenview Primary School;
  • Progressing the new fit-for-purpose Emergency Services Hub at Wynyard and Rosebery;
  • Supporting victim-survivors with a new Arch Centre at Burnie;
  • Enhancing the Dial Regional Sports Complex;
  • Delivering an improved experience at the Nut State Reserve and the Dial Range;
  • Securing the future of Camp Clayton;
  • Delivering the new multi-purpose indoor sports centre at the Devonport Oval; and
  • Upgrading community sports facilities including the Penguin Sports and Services Club, the Port Sorell Bowls Club, East Ulverstone Football Club, and the Valley Road Regional Football Club.

Delivering for the West Coast & King Island

  • Progressing upgrades to the Lyell Highway between Granton and Strahan;
  • Delivering the new King Island Ambulance Station;
  • Upgrading the West Coast District Hospital to improve access to aged care services;
  • Upgrading the King Island Bowls Club;
  • Increasing 4WD opportunities and investing in a new off-road vehicle strategy for the Arthur Pieman Conservation Area;
  • Progressing the Next Iconic Walk on the West Coast;
  • Improving safety on the Murchison and Zeehan Highways;
  • Funding a new visitor shelter and improving amenities at the Edge of the World; and
  • Investing in events and festivals in regional areas, driving visitation across the State during the off-season in places such as Queenstown, Strahan and King Island.
  • Planning continues for the new fit-for-purpose emergency services hub in Rosebery;
