Continuing the redevelopment of the Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment, including an expanded emergency department;
Investing in a new Public Diagnostic Breast Care Centre and Cancer Wellness Centre;
Delivering 27 new mental health beds and a new eating disorder facility at the St John’s Park Health and Wellbeing Precinct;
Building a new 40 bed Older Persons Mental Health Complex at St John’s Park;
Building ramps to connect Gordons Hill Road to the Tasman Highway ahead of a remodelling of the Mornington interchange;
Upgrading the South Arm Road and Acton Road junction in Lauderdale, and duplication between Pass Road, Rokeby and Oakdowns Parade, Oakdowns;
Delivering a new Park and Ride facility at Glebe Hill;
Plans to expand the Government’s highly successful River Derwent Ferry to Lindisfarne; and Upgrading facilities at Clarence High, Lindisfarne North Primary, Risdon Vale Primary, East Derwent Primary, Lauderdale Primary and Cambridge Primary School.
Kingborough and the Huon Valley
Constructing Stage 2 of the Kingston Health Centre;
Construction of new ambulance stations at Snug and Cygnet;
Upgrades to the Algona Interchange and Kingston Bypass, including a pedestrian overpass connecting the Whitewater subdivision and the Huntingfield Park and Ride facility;
Progressing works on the Southern Outlet Transit Lane from Tolmans Hill to Kingston;
Kingborough Sporting Precinct, delivering the AFL and JackJumpers’ High Performance Centres;
Progressing a new supersized Child and Family Learning Centre in Huonville; and
Planning for a new fit-for-purpose emergency services hub in Kingston.
