A free online mental health platform has today been launched to support Tasmanian businesses and help their employees with their mental health.
The Head4Work platform aims to support workers to better understand how to manage mental health risks at work, along with showing managers what they can do to support their staff.
This past year has been extremely challenging as businesses and the community have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Head4Work will help those Tasmanian businesses and their employees that have done it tough and need extra support.
Our Government is committed to workplace safety in all areas, and we know that employers who take steps to understand the importance of supporting good mental health in the workplace will inevitably reap the rewards of a happier, healthier and more productive workplace.
The Head4Work platform is easy to use, can be accessed anytime and on any device, and requires no prior knowledge of workplace mental health.
Developed by Roar Educate, and supported by the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), Head4Work is available at https://head4work.com.au/.
The initiative has been made possible through a grant to the TCCI’s Work Health and Safety Advisory Service, which was funded by the WorkCover Tasmania Board.
