The Tasmanian Liberal Government is continuing to support our screen industry with three new projects to benefit Screen Tasmania’s latest project development funding round.
The projects will share in $45,000 of project development funding, encouraging more local projects to start production, while also supporting jobs and our economy in this important sector.
The projects include:
Screen production is booming in Tasmania, with drama series Deadloch currently being filmed, reality series The Bridge having recently wrapped filming, and local drama production Bay of Fires to get underway in the coming months.
This latest funding is another demonstration of our ongoing commitment to Tasmanian screen production that has enabled the local industry to build capacity, develop new stories, and provide employment opportunities for many Tasmanians across our cultural and creative industries.
