Second chance for Tasmanians for travel vouchers

Registrations for the second round of the Tasmanian Liberal Government’s Make Yourself at Home Travel Voucher initiative open at 7pm tomorrow night.

The second release provides a further $5 million in support for our tourism industry, taking our total investment in encouraging Tasmanians to explore their own state to $12.5 million.

Tasmanians who missed out in the first round or who received a voucher in the first round and have already travelled and redeemed their voucher for that travel, will be able to apply for a voucher through the Make Yourself at Home website tomorrow night.

To support those without digital access, Tasmanians will also be able to register by contacting the call centre on 1800 344 077 between 7pm and 9pm. A reminder to please only call the call centre if you don’t have internet access.

Our tourism industry has no doubt been one of the hardest hit throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and as Tasmanians we can support them.

Given how popular the first round was, it’s important for Tasmanians to remember that it remains a first in, best dressed process. So be ready to apply for a voucher when 7pm rolls around tomorrow night and support our tourism businesses whilst enjoying what our beautiful State has to offer.
