The Tasmanian Liberal Government is the strongest supporter of our ICT sector which provides more than 9,000 jobs in Tasmania, and many thousands more indirectly.
It enables business and service delivery across many of the State’s priority industries; as well as playing a transformational role across our economy through the disruption of traditional markets and sectors.
Last night's 2021 TasICT Awards for ICT Excellence recognises the achievements of our home-grown innovators by celebrating the outstanding achievements of the Tasmanian Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry’s organisations, individuals and students.
The Tasmanian Liberal Government has worked hard to nurture the State’s ICT sector and we are proud to be backing the industry with an $8.5 million investment to help businesses better compete in the digital economy and providing better digital infrastructure across the state to create even more jobs.
We congratulate all of the 2021 Tasmanian TasICT Awards for Excellence winners.
