Additional support for projects or equipment that address gambling harm has become available with the opening of the Community Support Fund (CSF) Grants Program.
Minister for Community Services and Development, Jo Palmer, said the Rockliff Liberal Government is committed to reducing harm from gambling by making a $800,000 funding pool available for the 2023-24 grants program.
“CSF grants support grassroots organisations to use their understanding of what is needed and what works in their communities to address harm from gambling, including the potential drivers and impacts of that harm,” Minister Palmer said.
“Applications are now invited for the CSF Grants Program, across two grants rounds – large and small grants.”
Large grants of up to $135,000 are available for projects that address gambling harm or its drivers and impacts. Applications for these large grants will close on 1 December, 2023.
Small grants of up to $10,000 are available for projects or equipment that support addressing gambling harm or the drivers and impacts of gambling harm.
Small grants will be assessed and funded on a “first in” basis until Friday, 1 March, 2024, or funds are exhausted.
