Join us on Mission: Biosecurity

The Tasmanian Government is part of a new national initiative highlighting the importance of biosecurity through a suite of interactive and digital resources.

Officially launched today at the 2020 National Biosecurity Forum, “The Mission: Biosecurity” website features a series of short videos, games and podcasts.

The initiative allows visitors to discover what biosecurity means, how it can affect our way of life, and how we can all help protect our environment, community and economy from biosecurity risks.

The Mission: Biosecurity website is a great example of State and Territory Governments working with the Commonwealth to produce easily accessible resources that improve public education and engagement and help further strengthen the national biosecurity systems.

Good biosecurity is a shared responsibility, and while Mission: Biosecurity has a student and classroom focus, the resources also have broader appeal to industry and community stakeholders.

The resources have been developed with a national focus, with many of the materials having a direct relevance for all Tasmanians as we work together to keep our State biosecurity safe.
