Winter's trademark arrogance on full display under mainland leadership

The Tasmanian Liberal Government looks forward to welcoming the new Liberal candidate for Pembroke as we continue to strengthen Tasmania’s future.

A Liberal Member for Pembroke would be able to deliver for their electorate, as a part of the Rockliff Liberal Government team.

It’s interesting that Dean Winter is banging on about dysfunction just a few short weeks after the Tasmanian Labor shambles was taken over by Doug Cameron and Nick Sherry.

They have taken the reins of the same Labor party that failed to pre-select Mr Winter due to infighting.

You’d think Mr Winter might have learnt from prematurely declaring Toby Thorpe as the winner of the Huon by-election, only for the Labor candidate to lose.

The Huon by-election was a humiliation for Rebecca White, Dean Winter and Tasmanian Labor, losing the seat they had previously held after the sitting Labor Member Dr Seidel quit because of Rebecca White’s toxic leadership.

This by-election loss came on top of Labor’s second-worst State election result ever, with Ms White taking Labor backwards in every electorate.

Just as well Mr Winter arranged for his mate and key factional ally Luke Edmunds to be endorsed for Pembroke *before* the mainland Labor takeover, and the ban on local preselections.

Labor is toxic and divided and couldn’t run a bath let alone Tasmania.
