Supporting Tasmanian businesses during flood recovery

Small businesses are the life blood of our island State.

The Tasmanian Government understands that when times are tough, we need to step up the support.

That is why we have assistance available to businesses affected by the recent floods.

Immediate grants of between $750-$1500 are available to help businesses with professional support.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff has now also successfully secured broader support for Tasmanian small businesses though the Australian Government.

Grants of up to $25,000 will be available from mid-next week to support Tasmanian small businesses and primary producers impacted by the October flooding with clean-up and restoration activities.

Funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, the grant includes an up-front payment of $2,500 to provide immediate cash flow relief.

More information, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, will be made available on TasALERT in the coming days.

Business Tasmania is ready to assist businesses navigate the recovery process and connect people with the available assistance.
