One-Year Commemoration of the Hillcrest Primary School tragedy

As we approach the first anniversary of the devastating tragedy that took place at Hillcrest Primary School, we continue to keep the children, their families, and their loved ones in our hearts and minds.

Next Friday, the 16th of December, will mark one year since the devastating day that saw the lives of six children taken and three children seriously injured.

We will never forget.

Following consultation with the families and the broader community, a commemoration ceremony will be held at Market Square on Thursday, the 15th of December.

Families, friends and the community are invited to attend the ceremony to formally remember and honour the lives of the six children lost that day.

Details:
Where: Market Square, 137 Rooke Street, Devonport
When: Thursday 15 December 2022 from 5:30pm

The ceremony at Market Square will include an opportunity for attendees to place flowers and messages of support.
