New well-being studio opens its doors

The Rockliff Liberal Government is committed to cultivating an environment where businesses can flourish, creating jobs in our local community and bring vitality to our beautiful State.

Congratulations to Christina How on the official opening today of SanarĂ¡ Studio by the Attorney-General and Liberal Member for Clark, Elise Archer.

“I am delighted to see that after the challenges of COVID-19, particularly to small businesses, that our Tasmanian community still has entrepreneurs, like Christina, who are eager to enrich our local community with new businesses and ideas,” said the Attorney-General.

“I love that this studio caters for everyone - embracing diversity, and welcoming beginners to the most experienced yogi.

“I was interested to learn that the word sanarĂ¡ means ‘will heal’ and I can think of no better way to rest and recuperate from the daily pressures of life than spending time in this inviting new yoga and well-being studio situated in Macquarie Street, Hobart.

“It is also a fitting link to the general healing and wellbeing of how we have all emerged from the impact of the pandemic on our daily lives and our workplaces.

“Congratulations again to Christina and the whole team of instructors. I wish you all the best with your new venture,” added the Attorney-General and Member for Clark, Elise Archer.

SanarĂ¡ Studio also deserves credit for being so conscientious about our environment and sustainability. The materials used in the mats, blankets and bolsters here in the studio are biodegradable and made from natural or recycled materials which have been sustainably sourced.
