This week in Parliament our Government will be focused on getting on with government business.
We will be introducing nation leading reforms to extend the list of presumptive cancers for firefighters to include nine additional types of cancers, including female-specific cancers such as cervical and ovarian cancer.
We will also bring forward for debate important legislation, including to improve the rights of people affected by crime and their loved ones which will ensure that victims of crime applicants are no worse off by any change to their entitlements under the award structure.
Our Government is focused on our long-term plan and what matters to all Tasmanians.

Unfortunately, I expect we will see another week of our political opponents seeking to misuse the Parliament with stunts and political games that prevent us from debating important Bills on which Tasmanians deserve certainty, and a Parliament focused on what matters.
