Men’s Sheds across Tasmania will benefit from more than $168,000 in funding with successful applicants of the Tasmanian Men’s Shed Association (TMSA) Grants Program announced.
Minister for community Services and Development Jo Palmer said 27 Men’s Sheds throughout Tasmania have been successful.
“They will share in more than $168,000 to support shed development and deliver projects that will benefit the wider community,” Minister Palmer said.
Under the Grants Program, eligible organisations were invited to apply for grants of up to $27,000 in the following categories:

“Men’s Sheds are a valuable asset to the community. They play an important role in promoting men’s health and wellbeing, and provide opportunities for skill sharing and intergenerational mentoring,” Minister Palmer said.
“I cannot wait to see these exciting projects come to life.”
