Expressions of interest are being sought from suitably qualified persons interested in being appointed Deputy President of the Tasmanian Industrial Commission.
The Commission is an independent tribunal established under the Industrial Relations Act 1984, whose role is to conciliate, arbitrate and determine industrial matters pursuant to the Industrial Relations Act 1984, the State Service Act 2000, Long Service Leave Act 1976, Long Service Leave (State Employees) Act 1994 and to determine salaries and allowances pursuant to the Parliamentary Salaries, Superannuation and Allowances Act 2012.
