Delivering better health and wellbeing outcomes for Tasmanians

The Rockliff Liberal Government is delivering a stronger, safer and more secure Tasmania, and the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians remains our top priority.

Everyone in the community is invited to have their say on what wellbeing means to them and their hopes for the future of our State, which will assist in the formulation of Tasmania’s wellbeing Framework.

In partnership with the University of Tasmania, consultation will begin today with the launch of an online survey.

Premier and Minister for Mental Health and Wellbeing, Jeremy Rockliff encouraged Tasmanians to provide their input and assist us to deliver better wellbeing outcomes for all Tasmanians now and into the future.

“This survey is part of our ongoing commitment to listen to the voice of all Tasmanians and put this at the heart of decision making,” the Premier said.

“We want to hear about things like physical and mental health, social connections, economic security, environmental quality, and cultural vitality.

“Once developed, the Framework will assist us to prioritise investment, policy and decision-making to areas which will make a real difference to Tasmanians.

The state-wide survey is asking two simple questions about wellbeing and the future. More information will be available at www.wellbeingframework.tas.gov.au
