The Tasmanian Government has been made aware that Basslink is currently rectifying a fault identified in its system.
The temporary outage will not impact Tasmania’s energy security position, with storages currently at 39.4 per cent, which is 8.7 percentage points above the Prudent Storage Level for March.
Basslink has advised the market that the link is expected to return to service this coming Friday, 11 March.
