Tasmania retains top spot

The latest NAB Monthly Business Survey demonstrates Tasmania's business confidence and conditions continue to lead the nation.

Tasmania is the only state or territory to post both positive confidence and conditions.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania's Future is delivering for Tasmanians.

"Tasmania's nation-leading business confidence and conditions are good for everyone," the Premier said.

"We are growing the worth of our trade goods, which are now worth a record $5.15 billion - a 12.7 per cent increase year on year.

"We have a strong $40 billion infrastructure pipeline and Tasmania's total State Final Demand is nearing a record $52 billion.

"Tasmania's visitor economy continues to grow, our brand-new Spirits IV and V are on the cusp of entering operation and private investment continues to call Tasmania home.

"We are backing workers and backing our businesses to grow and invest."
