In a rare lucid moment, Josh Willie has read the room.
Mr Willie has finally agreed in Parliament today that Federal Labor can help the Tasmanians trapped in our hospitals for months at a time.
The estimated costs of providing care for these patients in Tasmania’s public hospitals in 2026–27 is $108 million, which is $432 million across the forward estimates.
This is money we could be investing into our hospitals and health services.
All because Canberra is failing older Tasmanians.
