Jeremy Rockliff, Premier
The Tasmanian Government has reached a one-year wage agreement with the Australian Medical Association Tasmania.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff said our doctors save lives every day, and we thank them for the work they do.
“Together with the AMA, we have delivered a one-year rollover agreement for medical practitioners,” Premier Rockliff said.
“We are pleased doctors will receive a pay rise while we continue to work closely with the AMA on a long-term agreement and stability of our medical workforce in Tasmania."
The one-year 3 per cent rollover pay rise is effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 January 2026.
The Tasmanian Government continues to negotiate in good faith to ensure public servants negotiating new wage agreements receive a pay rise.
