Roger Jaensch, Minister for Community and Multicultural Affairs

Ten Men’s Sheds across Tasmania will receive a share of $476,000 to help renovate, construct or upgrade their facilities.

Minister for Community and Multicultural Affairs, Roger Jaensch, said the Tasmanian Government was delivering important investment into Men’s Sheds through the Capital Investment Grants Program.

“Our Men’s Sheds are important places to meet others, share knowledge and get help on those DIY projects,” Minister Jaensch said.

“The Sheds also provides space to improve men’s health and wellbeing by combatting social isolation and offering a friendly place to connect, learn new skills and build camaraderie with others.

“Our Government’s funding will deliver capital upgrades at the Sheds as part of our 2030 strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future, ensuring they continue to serve their Tasmanian communities.”
