Yesterday, Minister Collins was called on to back Tasmanian farmers and use her powers to veto this project.
In a shocking betrayal of Tasmanians, Minister Collins confirmed she’s delegated her responsibility to review the project to her department.
At a community meeting organised by TasFarmers yesterday, Tasmanians came together to express their outrage at this decision.
Minister Collins betrayal of the Tasmanian people is another devastating blow to the community and to farmers across the State.
Faceless bureaucrats in Canberra should not be making decision about the future of Tasmania’s biggest farm.
Minister Collins needs to front up, do the right thing, and veto this project.
