The latest employment data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics has once again confirmed Tasmania has the lowest unemployment rate in the nation.
There are now more than 286,000 Tasmanians in the workforce, with unemployment at 4.0 per cent.
Treasurer, Eric Abetz, said that since being elected in 2014, this Liberal Government has created more than 51,000 jobs.
"Whether it's our high-vis army, targeted investments into key initiatives or giving the private sector room to move - we are keeping Tasmanians employed," Minister Abetz said.
"On top of this, Tasmania's participation rate has improved, adding to this latest good news.
"We're all working together to move our state forward and it's benefitting Tasmanians from all walks of life.
"Tasmania has the lowest unemployment rate in the country, and our Government is working to keep it low.
"In doing so, we can give businesses confidence, backing Tasmanian jobs and keeping our economy growing.
"This Liberal Government is delivering for Tasmanians."
