Jeremy Rockliff, Premier

Kerry Vincent, Liberal Member for Prosser

In a move that cements the Tasmanian Government’s focus on delivering key infrastructure for our State, Liberal Member for Prosser Kerry Vincent has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said the Tasmanian Government is 100 per cent focused on delivering the economic-enabling infrastructure Tasmania needs and deserves.

“Mr Vincent will provide additional support in the portfolio, and ensure all hands are on deck to meet key milestones across a range of important projects,” the Premier said.

“Tasmania is embarking on a $5.1 billion infrastructure agenda as part of our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future.

“As the former Mayor of Sorell, Kerry played an instrumental role in the transformation of Sorell which has seen the construction and delivery of generational infrastructure for his constituents, in partnership with State and Federal Governments.

“Kerry will be a real driver of better outcomes for a number of key infrastructure projects across the State.”

Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure Kerry Vincent said it was a real honour to serve the Premier and Tasmania as Parliamentary Secretary.

“Tasmania is on the cusp of completing some of the biggest infrastructure projects in our state’s history, as well as planning for future infrastructure that will improve the lives of Tasmanians for generations to come,” Mr Vincent said.

“I look forward to playing my part in ensuring these projects come to fruition."
