Labor’s record gold medal haul for talking Tassie down

Tasmanian Labor has successfully claimed the unenviable gold medal for talking Tasmania down in the parliament.

At every opportunity the Labor Opposition revert themselves back to the toxic negativity they know so well. 

The prioritising of pettiness over policy comes despite another leadership change, following their fourth successive election defeat.

It’s simply the case of different leader, same negativity. 

Whilst the Government continues to deliver the 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future, we expect the Tasmanian Labor Opposition to continue their relentless campaign of negativity.

We know that the Labor Opposition's commitment to a fresh approach to make Parliament as productive as possible has gone out the window – along with their policies, and a series of back flips that would rate highly for difficulty with the gymnastics judges at the Paris Olympics.  

While the Labor Opposition continues to be relentlessly negative, the Tasmanian Liberal Government will provide the certainty and stability Tasmania needs, while taking action on the issues affecting Tasmanians right now.
