Jo Palmer, Minister for Education
Today, the Tasmanian Liberal Government is proud to acknowledge Australian Primary Principals' Day – an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and commitment of these hard-working leaders across the State.
Minister for Education, Jo Palmer, said principals play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.
“The influence that primary school principals have on the culture and the outcomes of our schools cannot be underestimated,” Minister Palmer said.
“They are the backbone of our education system, and their efforts make a significant difference in the lives of students, families and the broader community.
“Their leadership ensures that children receive a quality education and the support they require to thrive.
“I would like to thank our primary school principals for their tireless dedication, passion and commitment.”
As part of our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future, the Government is building on its record investment in education infrastructure and delivering major upgrades to a number of primary schools across the State.
