Delivering for Braddon

  • $145m for improvements to the Bass Highway – Devonport to Launceston;
  • $42m to complete the Wynyard to Marrawah section of the Bass Highway;
  • Finalisation of the $50m Bass Highway – Cooee to Wynyard, including the completed Cam River Bridge replacement;
  • $16.6m for the Devonport to Cradle Mountain corridor improvements;
  • Upgrades to the Ridgley and Stanley highways;
  • Redevelop Burnie Primary School, Havenview Primary School and Montello Primary School;
  • $60.4m for the North-West Support School new Devonport campus and upgrades to the Burnie Campus;
  • Delivering our Healthy School Lunch Program at East Devonport Primary, Havenview Primary, Hillcrest Primary, Montello Primary, Romaine Park Primary, Sassafras Primary, Smithton High, West Ulverstone Primary and Yolla District High School;
  • Deliver a new Child and Family Learning Centre in Smithton;
  • Deliver a new permanent breast screening clinic in Devonport;
  • $7.6m for the Devonport Mental Health Hub, including a Safe Haven, Recovery College and Integration Hub;
  • $40m for the North-West Regional Hospital – Mental Health Precinct;
  • $14.2m for the North-West Regional Hospital upgrade, including an expanded Ambulance drop-off area and Emergency Department expansion;
  • $69.3m for the construction of the Burnie Court complex;
  • Invest in visitor and walking experiences at the Nut and Dial Range;
  • $10m for the Wynyard Emergency Services Hub;
  • $13.5m for the Dial Regional Sports Complex Infrastructure Upgrades Project; and
  • $311m for three Tranche 3 irrigation schemes including the Sassafras Wesley Vale Irrigation Scheme Augmentation.

West Coast and King Island

  • $5.5m to deliver the West Coast District Hospital Stage 2 redevelopment;
  • $16m to deliver new bulkbilling GP clinics to improve access to primary care, including on the West Coast;
  • Deliver a new ambulance station on King Island;
  • $36.7m for the West Coast Wilderness Railway;
  • $7.2m for the maintenance and upgrading of existing tracks in the Arthur Pieman Conservation Area;
  • $2.3m for the Edge of the World experience at the mouth of the Arthur River;
  • $33.3m for the Next Iconic multi-day Walk on the West Coast; and
  • $2m for the Rosebery Emergency Services Hub.
