Nominations open for 2021 Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women

The Tasmanian Government is searching for inspirational women across the state, with nominations now open for the 2021 Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women.

Tasmanians are encouraged to consider nominating women and women’s organisations who have made a significant contribution locally, nationally or internationally.

The Honour Roll preserves the stories of women and women’s organisations, ensuring their achievements are not forgotten, and to inspire future generations.

It includes women from all walks of life, including community service, humanitarian pursuits, business, science and technology, the arts, sport, education, medicine and the environment.

The Honour Roll was established in 2005, with 324 women and 10 women’s organisations being inducted so far.

Nominations must demonstrate how the nominee meets the selection criteria. More information about the Honour Roll, the nomination process and nomination forms are available at http://www.women.tas.gov.au/tasmanian_honour_roll_of_women

Nominations close on October 16, 2020. New inductees will be announced in March, 2021.
