Given his lazy decision not to do an Alternative Budget, Labor Leader Bryan Green must use Tuesday's budget reply to outline exactly how he will pay for the nearly $1.5 billion in spending promises Labor has made in the past two years.
Or, if Labor no longer stands by these promises - such as the one to unwind all the savings measures we made in our first budget - he must clearly say so.
It's all too easy for a lazy opposition to promise to oppose a government savings measures, but to not follow through on that promise by taking it to the election is dishonest, and deceptive to voters.
So, my challenge to Mr Green – do you still stand by your following promises made over the past two years (cost over four years):
Or were these promises just hot air that you never had any intention of delivering?
