David O’Byrne needs to explain why he is opposing improved ferry services in his own electorate.
Once again the Opposition has failed to understand even the simplest of concepts, more sailings = more capacity.
Fact: The new contract will deliver a faster, more reliable ferry service for Bruny Island, with increased capacity.
Fact: The new operators will be building two new ferries and Tasmanian businesses will have every opportunity to be involved.
Fact: From day one of the new contract, residents’ prices will be the same – even cheaper if they book.
Labor have no plans and no policies and are resorting to telling complete falsehoods and spreading fear to gain cheap political points.
This is now normal Labor behaviour after their abysmal performance at estimates where they ran out of questions and resorted to personal attacks to gain media attention.
