Congratulations Hardie Fellowship recipients

The Hardie Fellowship opens the door to professional learning opportunities that have the potential to change education in Tasmania for generations to come.

It was an honour to tonight announce this year’s recipients of the Hardie Fellowship and congratulate them on this achievement.

The four groups of Department of Education staff will now embark on an incredible 12-month professional learning experience in the USA.

The groups include accomplished educators who will undertake study with global leaders in their fields, gaining access to world class innovation and thinking, while developing important global networks and links.

This innovative and research based approach to education plays a critical role in ensuring every young Tasmanian has the very best opportunity for a bright future.

I wish this year’s recipients all the best for their studies.
