The Tasmanian Government congratulates all the winners and finalists in the 2015 Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards, announced at tonight’s Gala Presentation Dinner.
I was pleased to represent the Premier at the Awards, which are an opportunity to recognise the valuable contribution of individuals, organisations, groups and businesses that make a real difference to our State.
The Liberal Government is committed to increasing opportunities for all Tasmanians to participate, and these Awards allow us all to acknowledge those who contribute to our community in their own ways.
There is no doubt that in Tasmania there are many people who are passionate about helping others and who understand the importance of supporting the communities in which we live, work and play.
Tonight we were able to celebrate just a few of those whose contribution enriches our community and the lives of others, but to all we say thank you.
