Tasmania Police launches new recruitment campaign

Tasmania Police has today launched a new recruitment campaign highlighting the opportunities, job satisfaction and personal development that comes with joining the service.

The Find You in Blue campaign will initially be rolled out on social media, with traditional press and radio ads to follow over the coming weeks.

The Tasmanian Liberal Government is committed to boosting police numbers by 308 officers by July 2026, which will bring the total number of officers to 1428 – the highest in Tasmania Police’s history.

This campaign will support this goal as we increase numbers over the next 5 years, and ensure we can continue to keep Tasmanians safe.

Tasmania Police offers a wide range of opportunities for officers including criminal investigation, search and rescue, community engagement and covert operations.

Officers come from all walks of life, with diverse experiences behind them, and I encourage anyone who has ever considered a career in policing to apply.

Modern policing also allows officers to gain exciting skills using new technology such as drones, and training with different vehicles, watercraft, and aircraft.
