More Tasmanians are in work than ever before with the latest Labour force data revealing that Tasmania has hit a new jobs record.
The ABS statistics show 253,200 Tasmanians are now employed, in trend terms and employment growth in November was the fastest in the country.
Under the Hodgman Liberal Government’s long term Plan, over 18,000 jobs have been created since we came to Government.
The Tasmanian economy is the fastest growing in the nation, and our businesses the most confident, which is leading to more jobs and opportunities for Tasmanians.
These statistics show that our plan is working, and we will continue to maintain our current economic momentum by investing record amounts in infrastructure right around the State to support the creation of 10,000 more jobs.
