Taroona High School Redevelopment

Construction has commenced on a $5 million redevelopment at the Taroona High School as part of the Tasmanian majority Liberal Government’s commitment to improving educational outcomes.

The works consist of new contemporary standard music facilities, refurbished learning areas in the former music area, support spaces and student amenities.

With around 1,125 students in Years 7 to 10, it’s important Tasmania’s largest high school has the quality learning spaces it needs for students both current and future.

Tim Penny Architects and Vos Construction, two great Tasmanian companies, are working collaboratively with the school community and students to deliver these important improvements.

The Tasmanian majority Liberal Government is delivering a record $7.1 billion investment into education across Tasmania, creating better opportunities for Tasmanians.

We are committed to creating contemporary and inspiring learning spaces for our students to ensure they have the best opportunity to learn, grown and thrive.
