Mobile COVID testing clinics on the move

The health, safety and wellbeing of Tasmanians is the Government’s number one priority as we continue the recovery phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Continuing a high testing rate is really important as we try to avoid a second wave of COVID-19 in our community.

That’s why, despite 40 days without a positive COVID-19 case in Tasmania, it is vital people continue to get tested as we bring forward Stage 3 restrictions from Friday.

In addition to our clinics in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie, over the coming fortnight people will have access to clinics in the following areas;

  • Marrawah (24,25 June, no booking required, 8.30am-3.30pm and 8.30am-1pm)
  • St Mary’s (27-28 June, no booking required, 10am to 3.30pm)
  • Huonville (1-2 July, no booking required, 10am to 3.30pm)
  • Campbell Town (4-6 July, no booking required, 10am to 3.30pm)

We have now delivered more than 45,000 tests - a huge effort and Tasmanians are to be congratulated.

Tasmanians can arrange an appointment by contacting the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 or by contacting their GP.

If you have any symptoms such as a sniffle, fever, cough, sore or scratchy throat or shortness of breath it’s really important to go and get tested.
