Flood and storm emergency assistance number

The Hodgman majority Liberal Government is committed to protecting the Tasmanian way of life and keeping Tasmanians safe.

That’s why the Tasmanian Government has launched an awareness campaign over the importance of the State Emergency Service’s 132 500 flood and storm emergency assistance number.

All Tasmanians need to be aware of the importance of this phone line in emergency situations, to ensure our hard working SES staff are able to respond to emergencies in a timely nature.

From today, an advertising campaign across television, social media and bus advertising will highlight the importance of the 132 500 number for flood and storm emergencies.

Importantly, Triple Zero will continue to be the number to call for life-threatening emergencies.
