I’d like to congratulate Crime Stoppers Tasmania for being recognised on the global stage for Tasmania’s crime prevention strategies by winning two prestigious Crime Stoppers International awards.
The two awards are:
1.Media Print Award - Special Feature recognising Crime Stoppers Tasmania’s 25 years of service showcased in their 25th Anniversary Publication; and
2.Specialised Training Award for a Crime Stoppers Tasmania led community Retail Safety Campaign to combat anti-social behaviour, violence and theft in shopping precincts.
Each year, the awards recognise individuals, programs, activities and campaigns for excellence and contribution to Crime Stoppers International.
With submissions and applications from across the world being considered as part of this program, this is a huge achievement for Crime Stoppers Tasmania and its team should be proud of this success.
