It is clear that Dr Goodwin will be unable to fulfil her ministerial duties for some time.
Accordingly, I have determined to distribute Dr Goodwin’s portfolios for the period in which she will be absent, and have made some consequential changes to other ministerial responsibilities.
I will be the Acting Minister for the Arts, and in addition the Minister for Heritage.
Minister Matthew Groom will be the Acting Attorney-General and Acting Minister for Justice.
Minister Guy Barnett will be the Acting Minister for Corrections.
The Deputy Premier, Jeremy Rockliff, will assume responsibility for Crown land services, and natural resource management.
These changes were formalised with her Excellency the Governor late yesterday afternoon.
