A once-off additional concession payment of $100 will be paid to eligible Aurora electricity concession customers in the form of a credit on the account of standard tariff concession customers and as a credit on the charge card of Aurora Pay As You Go concession customers.

The once-off payment will be in addition to existing concession payments.

For standard tariff concession customers, the payment will appear as a credit on the Aurora Energy bill that will be issued from early September 2010.

There will be a note on the bill stating that the payment is for the Tasmanian Government once-off additional electricity concession 2010-11.

For Pay As You Go customers, the once-off concession payment will be received the next time the eligible customer's card is recharged.

Aurora will make the payments without the need for customers to apply.

Eligibility will be as at 1 September 2010, with payments commencing from that date.
