Wolfe brothers lead the pack

Congratulations to Tasmania’s own Wolfe Brothers who took home four awards from five nominations last night at the 47th annual Golden Guitar Awards.

The trio, Nick and Tom Wolfe and Brodie Rainbird dominated Australian country music's biggest night of the year, taking out song of the year and contemporary album of the year for their release Country Heart.

Since coming to the nation’s attention in 2012 when they were runners up on a reality television show, they have gained popularity playing their blend of country rock alongside some of the industries finest musicians, including Lee Kernaghan.

Despite winning national awards and playing to crowds across the nation, the Wolfe Brothers remain authentic to who they are as a group and can still be found regularly performing live shows at venues around our state.

The Hodgman majority Liberal Government is proud to see local talent recognised on a national stage.
