The Hodgman Liberal Government’s 2017-18 State Budget is so good even the Opposition wants to take credit for it.
The inexperienced Labor Leader Bec White has added her voice to leading commentators to support the Budget and even claims credit for it.
You can imagine my surprise when I read that, “The Labor Government has pledged $1 million to back mountain biking tourism in St Helens”.
Memo to Ms White: thanks for supporting the Liberal’s Budget which already includes $1 million funding for mountain bike tourism in St Helens and more in the North East.
As they say, imitation is the highest form of flattery and given the failure of Labor to deliver a fully-funded alternative budget, I’m not surprised Ms White wants to try and coast in on Liberal coat-tails.
