Rebecca White must tackle Bill Shorten over analysis showing Labor’s tax changes would lead to housing for more than 2000 Tasmanians not being built.
Modelling prepared by Cadence Economics and released today shows that in the first five years of Labor’s tax changes 1020 less homes would be built in Tasmania and 320 construction jobs could be lost.
Master Builders Tasmania has said that the policy would add extra pressure to the rental market in Tasmania, particularly in Hobart.
Will Ms White now stand up for Tasmania and condemn Labor’s policy, or will she show her allegiance is with Federal Labor?
