What does Labor stand for? Issue 4 – construction jobs

It’s time for Rebecca White and Tasmanian Labor to be upfront with Tasmanians about where the Labor Party stands on key issues facing Tasmania.

Modelling released last month shows that Federal Labor’s negative gearing policy would result in 1020 less homes being built in Tasmania and 320 construction jobs being lost.*

Does Rebecca White and Tasmanian Labor support a policy which would destroy construction jobs and result in less housing in Tasmania?

Ms White’s Federal colleagues have publicly ridiculed her policies on taking gender off birth certificates and her stance on pokies. Surely she has the courage to call out a Federal Labor policy which will directly destroy Tasmanian jobs.

What does Labor stand for?

  1. Do they support the EOI process for sensible tourism proposals in National Parks, World Heritage Area and Reserves?
  2. Does Labor support industrial action impacting patients and children’s education?
  3. Does Labor have any new job creation policies, or do they still think more bureaucracy is the way to create jobs?
  4. Does Rebecca White and Tasmanian Labor support Bill Shorten’s negative gearing policy which would destroy construction jobs and result in less housing in Tasmania?
