Labor’s curious refusal to support the Government’s Plan to quarantine $730 million for the Mersey Community Hospital raises serious questions.
Ms White seems intent on raiding the money and spending it in the south of Tasmania.
Does Mr Broad support Ms White’s plan to rip money out of the Mersey? Will Mr Broad vote to lock up the Mersey money, or will he sell out his own community?
The reason why we even have to consider introducing legislation to lock up the Mersey money is so it won’t be stolen by future Governments. Labor has form on this. They spent $1.5 billion set aside to pay for the superannuation of thousands of public servants and have a record of blowing the budget.
