Triabunna Marina and Wharf extension open

It was my pleasure to officially open Stages 3 and 4 of the Triabunna Marina and Wharf Extension today.

This is vital infrastructure for the East Coast as not only will it ensure better amenities for residents, it will also provide further opportunities in the tourism sector with more access to the pristine waters of the East Coast.

The Hodgman Liberal Government is committed to improving infrastructure on the East Coast and we commend the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council for its commitment.

This project is one of a number of marine infrastructure developments on the East Coast including a new boat ramp under construction at Swansea, a permanent opening for the Prosser River at Orford and stage two of the St Helens Barway project.

I congratulate the council for its work on this important project at Triabunna and look forward to the completion of the Swansea Boat Ramp in several months’ time.
