The Toll Group's $24 million relocation to the Brighton Transport Hub is a significant and welcomed investment in Tasmanian infrastructure.
The site will allow for the continued growth of the state's largest transport logistic company and includes freezer storage, a refuelling station, a dangerous goods facility and room for 150 employees.
The state-of-the-art facility also creates a more efficient freight supply chain and will result in 42 fewer B-doubles and 100 fewer semi-trailer movements from Hobart every day.
I congratulate Toll on their new facility and their longstanding contribution to the Tasmanian economy.
