Temporary pharmacy to open on King Island tomorrow

Deputy Premier and Liberal Member for Braddon, Jeremy Rockliff, has moved to reassure King Island residents that they will continue to have access to essential services following yesterday's fire.

"The Liberal Government is acting quickly to restore pharmacy services to King Island.

"Temporary pharmacy facilities will be available at the King Island District Hospital and Health Centre from tomorrow.

"I've been in contact with the King Island Mayor, Duncan McFie, and Liberal Braddon MP, Roger Jaensch, will be on King Island tomorrow to talk to the local community.

"I can assure the community that the Government is acting quickly to make sure that King Island residents will continue to have access to proper medical services", Mr Rockliff said.
