Tasmanian produce showcased on TT-Line

TT-Line is showcasing Tasmanian produce to its passengers, with 68% of all food on board the vessels coming directly from Tasmanian businesses and farmers.

Shining a light on our finest food and beverages, the vessel’s wine menu is overflowing with Tasmanian produced grapes, with 65% of bottles coming from our island state.

TT-Line is committed to ensuring that Tasmanian products are used wherever possible on-board its vessels, having spent more than $42 million on Tasmanian sourced goods and services in 2018/19.

TT-Line injected a huge $77 million back into the State’s economy in the last financial year. This is in addition to the visitor spend from its passengers, which contributes a significant amount into our regional economy.

Spirit of Tasmania passengers stay longer and spend more outside of our city areas.

I congratulate TT Line on another great year and look forward to more positive results as we deliver our plan to improve the lives of every Tasmanian.
